Science & Technology of Exosomes
BENEV Exosome treatments are based on the most cutting edge scientific biotech breakthrough for skin rejuvenation and regeneration. Exosomes are responsible for cell to cell communication and for facilitating the exchange of RNA and other important proteins between cells (e.g. fibroblasts, keratinocytes, immune cells, etc.), in addition to transferring numerous growth factors and cytokines and genetic materials that have shown signs of tissue repair an improving skin cells. These data coding avatars have been harnessed for our new line of exosome products to promote a more radiant youthful appearance.
The major role of exosomes is to carry the information by delivering various effectors or signaling molecules between specific cells.
The offerings of exosome products has increased over the years many of which do not have any validation to their viability or effectivity, however exosomes being offered may be sourced from human or plants and some experimentation with animals and bacteria for other purposes that topical use in aesthetics.
Human sourced – considered the best exosome in terms of potency of action due to the number of growth factors, MiRNA, proteins, lipids etc. These usually are manufactured by culturing stem cells and filtering of the conditioned media is some fashion. Plants exosomes vary, the majority come from the crushing of plants and filtration so closer to a plant extract that is filtered, others actually culture the plant stem cell for a more robust and viable exosome product.
This depends on the clinical application of the exosome product, either topical use for rejuvenation or for injection for other indications. To determine the category of an exosome product look at the label claim and ingredient listing. Look into if the product is claiming to have live cells. The BENEV Exosome Regenerative Complex and Exosome Regenerative Complex + were developed for topical use for skin and scalp rejuvenation, the complex and scientific method of production ensures quality, efficacy and safety. Vials of Exosomes contain anywhere between 500K – 10 Billion particles, certain manufacturing processes may hinder this however a good stable lyophilized exosome product should yield between 2 Billion – 5 Billion particles per vial. A very important factor is the price of the Exosome products, non-lyophilized are very expensive at $800-$1300 per vial which hinders the attractiveness for use in skin rejuvenation treatments, a good quality lyophilized product is much more stable and less expensive.
Exosome Regenerative Complex and Exosome Regenerative Complex + are designed as a dual vial system consisting of 1 qty 20 mg vial of Lyophilized Exosomes, and 1 qty 5 mL vial of Diluent. The vial of Lyophilized Exosomes contains Lyophilized Exosomes, Growth Factors, Peptides, and Co-enzymes, and the vial of Diluent contains HA, Growth Factors, Amino Acids, and Minerals. Individually both vials are highly concentrated anti aging powerhouses, reconstituted the Exosome Regenerative Complex allows for superior results, assisting in not just rejuvenation but regeneration. The diluent formula allows for optimization of skin hydration utilizing a proprietary blend of skin and scalp regenerative ingredients.
Exosome Regenerative Complex and Exosome Regenerative Complex + are used to preform our BENEV EXO-XOM FACIAL™ . This treatment can be applied post Micro-Needling, RF Needling, Chemical Peel, PRP, and Non Invasive Laser. There are no valid report on drawbacks of exosomes from adipose tissue.

1. Open carton, and combine 1 Vial of Diluent into 1 Vial of Lyophilized Exosome. Mix thoroughly.
2. Cleanse skin and scalp thoroughly and dry completely.
3. Apply Exosome Regenerative Complex to skin, using the entire vial.
NOTE : Use immediately after mixing, not exceeding 3 hours
4. Follow with appropriate moisturizer and protection.
As exosomes contain proteins they are inherently unstable therefore need to be cryo preserved or lyophilized like Botox. Cryo preserved exosomes are more cumbersome and more difficult to store especially over a long period of time (90+ days); lyophilized stabilizes the exosome and allows for easier storage conditions. When choosing an exosome product it is important to have proof that exosomes exist and that they are viable therefore choosing a product that has extensive research and peer reviewed published papers is paramount.
These are two very different applications of exosome products. Immediate post procedure exosome products should be pure with a purity of over 99% pure which reassures effectivity and safety on an open wound, the product should have no preservative or fragrance. Skin care home use products are used on non open skin and therefore can be shelf stable with the addition of preservatives and fragrance.
Any exosome product considered needs to have efficacy and safety evidence, validation comes from peer reviewed published papers, an exosome product should have scientific backing with significant number of published papers. An exosome product little to no validation creates a risk.
